T.I.: “Chris Brown ‘Cool’ After Rihanna Assault”
T.I. says 19-year-old pal Chris Brown is “cool,” following his arrest in Los Angeles on Sunday on suspicion of felony criminal threats against his girlfriend Rihanna.
In an interview with Last Call with Carson Daly on Monday, T.I. said he spoke with Chris after his release on $50,000 bail.
“Yeah, I spoke to him today,” T.I. confirmed to Carson. “He cool, you know. I guess he a little concerned about the situation, but he’s still the same Chris.”
“I told him this too shall pass,” T.I. said, the Atlanta-based rapper added that fans should refrain from making hasty judgements against Chris.
“Hey man, you people gotta remember, we celebrities and we entertainers but we still human. All of us.”
“Don’t expect us not to make mistakes ‘cause we will.”
