T.I. has requested additional time before he begins his prison sentence for federal weapons charges, according to Arkansas’s Fort Mills Times.

The ATL-bred rapper has asked a court to delay his upcoming sentence by ten days so that he can secure a cell in a minimum security facility near his Georgia home.

T.I.’s, whose real name in Clifford Harris, was sentenced to one year and one day in jail last month for attempting to buy unregistered machine guns and silencers in 2007.
