Formerly bankrupt Grammy Award winning singer Toni Braxton is being sued by a wardrobe designer who claims she and Liberty Entertainment, Inc. paid him “insufficient funds” for clothes he designed for her show at the Flamingo Hotel on the Las Vegas strip.

ANTHONY FRANCO says that he was contracted by Liberty Entertainment and Braxton to design the entire wardrobe and costumes for the singer’s Las Vegas show, Anthony says Toni and Liberty failed to pay him the full amount for his work, which he says is $35,000.

He says a “stop payment” was placed on his check, and that Braxton and Liberty then wrote a check with “insufficient funds.”

“Although [they] paid [Franco] $20,000, there is still $15,000 owed,” the papers state.
