Lakers took on the Denver Nuggets in Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals on Wednesday night.

It brought on “howls of excitement and disbelief,” according to one L.A. Times sports blogger.

The actor, singer, and mode angered some by tampering with the patriotic words. Instead of saying “our flag was still there,” he sang “our Lakers were still there.”
