Uh-oh. Did Black Ty mess up out National Anthem at last night’s NBA Playoff Game. Tyrese Gibson, star of the upcoming summer blockbuster Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen, has created a firestorm with his rendition of “The Star-Spangled Banner” as the L.A. Lakers took on the Denver Nuggets in Game 5 of the Western Conference Finals on Wednesday night.

It brought on “howls of excitement and disbelief,” according to one L.A. Times sports blogger.

The actor, singer, and mode angered some by tampering with the patriotic words. Instead of saying “our flag was still there,” he sang “our Lakers were still there.”

I think it was very DISRESPECTFUL! It made me sick! What part of NATIONAL ANTHEM didn’t he get? Did Black Ty get paid for that? Who the hell is he anyway?

What do you think?
