“Unfunny” Katt Williams Show Refunded Chicago Aire Crown Theater

Pimp down! Has Katt Williams lost his funny? Katt’s New Year’s Eve performance at Chicago’s Aire Crown Theater was so lacking that the pint-sized comic has issued audience refunds. Katt even showed up for the performance an hour and a half late.

Towards the end of his performance a woman in the audience yelled out, “I want a refund!”

According to Power 92 radio host Kendra G: “Personally, I will not say that Katt Williams was not funny because he was! But expectations for Katt are very high right now and with that being said he was not as funny as he was in Pimp Chronicles and the fact that the show started so late made it heard for the audience to accept anything less than what they were expecting.”

I was at the first show. It sucked. Period. What Katt Williams & this @ss-kissing DJ left out was this: We could handle him being 40 minutes late but after that, our patience was tested. Also, we could not hear the show because he could not hold the mic up to his mouth for the entire second half of the show. Why? It doesn’t take a genius to answer that. If he was that messed up, the show should’ve been canceled.

At one point, HE WAS TALKING INTO THE MIC STAND, people! Katt even caught himself doing it, and said to us, “Did I really just talk into the mic stand?!”

Being that d@mn high does NOT make you funny. It makes you look stupid.

We were also upset because we thought we were getting a Katt Williams performance. The show was advertised as ‘Kat Williams New Year’s Eve Show’. We got Kat Williams 1/2 hour in the first part, 2 female comedians for over an hour combined, and fkd up/incoherent/Elmo ‘Let’s Play Musical Chairs’ Katt Williams in the last 35 minutes of the show. In Katt’s words: This is just unacceptable.

I don’t understand why stories are reporting that he refunded the audience. That is not true. We did NOT get our money back.

The cd he gave out was a joke, too. When we turned the cd cover over, we discovered that it was just a compilation of music from different rap artists. The cd did not contain material from his shows or jokes.

I was one of the security dudes… one of his “NiGGAS” that old boy who came on stage didnt know about and we threw him off… He was ALL THE WAY high… (not the weed we usually smoke) and he really DID wanna give the money back cause he was depressed by his performance but the tour Promoter said HELL NO.
