Usher is in hiding after calling off his weekend wedding to pregnant fiancée Tameka Foster only hours before the couple were set to tie the knot. The singer offered no explanation for the hastily cancelled nuptials, with insiders speculating that recent tabloid reports uncovering Tam’s ex-con past may be to blame. “We’re all speechless,” reports a guest.

Other reports have Usher rushing to his formerly estranged mother’s side following the wedding no-go:

“The reason he called off the ceremony is that he couldn’t go through with it without Jonetta,” said one insider. “He had an eleventh-hour epiphany.”

“Usher woke up on Saturday and said he couldn’t go through with it,” said a source. “Apparently, he also couldn’t bring himself to call all the people who were invited. He had the wedding planner call everyone in the wedding party.”
