Usher has dumped noted Hollywood manager Benny Medina and returned to the waiting arms of his lifelong momager Jonetta Patton, E! News reports.

“Usher has dissolved his management arrangement with Benny Medina and has re-engaged Jonnetta Patton as his manager,” the mother and son said in a statement Wednesday.

Usher canned Big Mama as his official representative over the 2007 Mother’s Day Weekend due to Jonetta’s well-publicized beef with Ush’s wifey, Tameka Foster-Raymond.

The Grammy Award-winning crooner gave Medina the boot after being disappointed with the lukewarm publlic reception to his latest LP, Here I Stand.

“He wanted her to come back on board and she decided to. He had really poor management and wanted her back,” a spy dished to People.

Benny Medina issued his own statement to People on Wednesday, saying: “With an artist like Usher, the bar is set really high. Whether it was management, marketing or the music, we achieved a number one single and a number one album. It is a completely new day and time in music now. In four years, his audience, demographic, and musical direction has changed. Records like Lil Wayne’s ‘Lollipop’ are the type of phenomena that ‘Yeah’ was in 2004.”

WELL, I BELIEVED IN YOUR MOM AND SHE WAS RIGHT THE WHOLE TIME…… HOW COULD YOU EVER HAD BEEN REALLY HAPPY WITH A WOMAN WHO LOOKED MORE OF A MAN THATN YOU? I’M NOT SAYING YOU DON’T LOOK LIKE A MAN, I’M SAYING TAMIKA LOOKED TOO HARD, AND SHE DIDN’T COMPLIMENT YOU WELL AT ALL. SHE WAS TROUBLE, AND I’M SAD TO SAY EVEN NOW I DON’T THINK YOU FOUND TRUE HAPPINESS YET. MOM, I’M WITH YOU ALL THE WAY
