From doing more googling, the staff of the school are Scientologists and the curriculum is based on L. Ron Hubbard’s Technology.

hey, Will Smith is fronting for the Scientologists, who are racists and a money scam. That school, check it out uses STUDY TECH by L Ron Hubbard. Hubbard told his wife not to scrub floors herself but get a -N–G–R to do it–you guessed it and he didnt mean it like Snoop. And wrote that hitting kids for discipline is OKAY. The school is gonna teach kidz to be GOOD Scientologists–like “good germans” and you know what that means.

Study Technology – An educational model developed by L.R. Hubbard, study technology focuses on three principles. First is the use of “mass” (manipulatives and hands-on experiences) to foster understanding – children need to see and feel what they are learning about. Second is the attention to the “gradient,” which ensures sure students master one level before moving on to the next. Third is the “misunderstood word,” in which students master word definitions and are taught not to read past words they don’t know the meanings of in order to understand completely what they are reading and learning. NVA uses study technology as an umbrella methodology woven through the subjects.

Sounds like a scientology school to me…….god damn will, you are a brotha, and you got sucked into all that bullshit scientology crap. They probably told you they needed a school where scientological kids could go and be safe instead of being homeschooled because mommy and daddy need a second job to pay for the expensive auditing sessions. He is just like tom cruise, in the closet, crazy, and a career ready to “spiral down” into the depths of hell. All religions my ass. Poor Will, he had so much promise, i knew he was never that smart, but i didnt think he was so dumb to give an institution moneyt o put magical thoughts into his head…..

I heard on the grapevine that its a scientology school. Sad for the kids, they’re going to be brainwashed starting in kindergarten. Will Smith is dead to me.

Will Smith said that he is not a Scientologist yet his school has at least 6 Scientologists on staff and will use the “Study Tech” written by Scientology’s founder LRon Hubbard – a racists science fiction writer.

I hope Will and his family gets a chance to visit the following site for an eye-opening history lesson: google Ex Scientology Kids and read the many personal stories about how these kids, who grew up in the “Church” of Scientology, were denied a decent education and instead were made to work all day and night instead. They were also prevented from seeing their parents and treated very harsly if they disobeyed or had any doubts about their “religion”.

Also google what LRon Hubbard had to say about people of colour Will – its not pretty, not pretty at all. Google Xenu(dot)net

Will, the “church” doesn’t love you…they love the colour of your money.

Oooh, I am so sad! Will lied about being a Scientologist! Six of the people on the staff there are Scientologists, and the mission statement says they’re going to be using L. Ron Hubbard’s “study technology” BS in the new school.

How COULD he set up an indoctrination school for Scientology — has that boy completely forsaken and forgotten Jesus? Ya, ya, I know he said that Scientology is the same as the Bible 90 percent of the time, but it’s not true! L. Ron Hubbard said that Jesus was just some false memory “implanted” in us by aliens. How could you, Will? That is just so evil — your father is so ashamed of you right now.

Sounds like the corporation of $cientology has their hooks in deeper than he has previously admitted. LRH study tech being used…what a waste of a good opportunity.

This is a Scientology cult related school. It is part of “Applied Scholastics” arm of Scientology, nothing more than to recruit more children and their parents into this dangerous cult. Jada became a cult member while filming with Cruise in the movie Collateral. Will and Jada hang out with the Cruises all the time and Will has handed out free “personality tests” to people as part of more Scientology recruitment. This cult is now targeting hip hop celebreties by using Will and Usher to sell this cult as a great way to improve your lives. Of course, it will detroy you, leave you broke, and leave you disconnected from your family since anyone who questions the ethics of this cult and it’s followers will be labled “Suppresive Person” or as Cruise was infamously joking about it in the cult video, an “SP”. They will harrass and sue anyone who tries to expose their dirty tricks and corrupt leadership. Stay away from this school and boycott Will Smith movies until he sees the light and distances himself from this horrible cult.

Will I don’t see how this is revoluntinizing school. You take a High School and turn it into a preschool? Instead of being free cost of attendance start at $7,500 and goes up from there. Secondly investment dollars are up from 20k but still a long shoot from Oprah Academy in South Africa. Big names such as Chris Rock, Tina Turner, Chris Brown, and new year eve guest. I have a somewhat strict diet. But I still wouldn’t be able to eat organic foods. I’m confused about the technology aspect compared to Scientology being a secular religion oustide of the Bible. You also demonstrate whites in position of power. I mean if it’s not broke then don’t fix it. There was no problem but you created kayus.

My children attend the school and receive a Christian education. I do not see comments posted here by any parents of children who attend this school yet all these accusations and assumptions of what outsiders think it is! Amazing!

Will and Jada have done a wonderful job of reinforcing the importance of education and i’m glad my children are able to attend they are receiving a priceless education and healthy food choices daily!

My daughter is 13 and has used applied scholastics in her education since kindergarten. She attended last year a public school for the first time and got almost all A’s ( a couple of B’s) and was immediately a hit with all the students and faculty. This is a product of her parents and her prior education habits which were learned from the Applied Scholastics method. She is smart and kind and generous and if that is unsavory to someone then I’m not sure what you want out of education. WELL done Will and Thank You!!

First off R Ron Hubbard isn’t racist. Will Smith is funding something he believes in, nothing is wrong with that. I’m sure most of you don’t even really know what scientology is truly about. To those of you who think Scientology is some cult, who don’t even know what it is. Just because you are close minded and only see something your way doesn’t mean everyone else does or needs to. Will Smith is doing a great thing for the future of kids today.

Thank you Will Smith for caring about the education of America. It’s amazing how many people will believe any negative news/rumor so readily without really finding out for theirselves the truth of the matter. The technology works. This I am certain of.

    Mr. Smith
We are the initial stages of opening up a private-parental chioce school in milwaukee, WI. I am an educator that is very disappointed in the current public school system, especially in the urban areas of Milwaukee. I believe that we are responsible for the fate or future of our children. The direction for educational excellence starts at home and in the schools. I was very excited to see an actor such as yourself, that has taken the time to invest in the future, our children. Our organization Seven Children was started with the concept of teaching at least one child each day of the week. If you can assist our efforts in any way we would greatly appreciate it ( this means advice/curriculum info or school structure info that might help in our efforts. Thank You!!!!!!

Who are you fooling saying that scientology isn’t a cult? Just do a google search.. It should be BANNED just like it is in Germany. Freedom of religion is not a justification for destroying lives. My uncle was KILLED by scientology, and there are many more out there (look it up).

And to the person who said that the school is a Christian education…it wouldn’t surprise me if scientologists talked about Jesus and Christianity in a positive light, all the while indoctrinating them in the beliefs and methods of scientology.
